Getting started

Open Help & Support in the app and choose the Getting Started guide.

Signing in

Use Apple, Google or an email code. Passkeys are optional in Account, then Passkeys. If you lose your device, you can still sign in with an email code.

Plans

Free: ten book scans a day, Search by Title, one child profile and iCloud Backup.

Readum Pro: unlimited children tracked, quiz results, progress, goals, Book Queue, sharing, Email Import, front-cover scan, Challenge friends, Library Trips, Reading Totals and Summer Sessions, with Awards coming soon. Readum Pro starts with a seven-day free trial. One Pro covers the family, and Apple Family Sharing is on. [Price from the store]

If Pro ends, Readum becomes read-only. You can still view, export, back up and delete.

Moving to a new iPhone

Back up in Settings, then Backup & Restore. On the new device choose Restore from iCloud first. Readum keeps one copy of what was on the device and asks you to type RESTORE.

Notifications

Turn them on in Readum under Settings, then Notifications. If they are turned off for Readum, open iPhone Settings, then Notifications, then Readum.

Delete Account

Account, then Delete Account. Hand over any children you own first.
